The title says it all! For those of you who don't know, I hosted my first Halloween Costume party last year (2008), and I'm looking to do it bigger and better in 2009! Food, decor, costumes, I like to go all out! My ideas are always huge, but sometimes I fall short in the execution, so this year, I've got to start planning EARLY!
Since I've got absolutely nothing to do this week at work, so I've been trying to scare up things to keep me busy. (Yesterday's task was researching Vegas for next weekend's trip! Woo woo!) Today's task is much more relevant to the title and definitely and much more interesting! I'm trying to figure out what to be for Halloween, and since Troy has his awesome French Musketeer costume, I'm considering trying to do a matching costume... so I started googleing Marie Antoinette costumes, and stumbled across this fantastic link which has seriously inspired me:

The dress! The wig! The mask! The fan! It's just ALL so FREAKING FABULOUS that I can't stand it!
And then I made my way to the Romantic Threads web site... and the gowns are so breathtakingly beautiful, I can hardly stand it. I can hardly afford it either! But look at this peacock masterpiece: http://store.romanticthreads.com/pemaanfago.html Sooo lovely! If you're gonna host a rocking costume party on Halloween, shouldn't you look the part?
And what about this one? This one could work for the French theme, AND I could totally push it over into vampire territory EASILY: http://store.romanticthreads.com/scfawegoorco.html If I spend that kind of dough, I'm wearing that bad boy for several years!
Hmmm.... time to start saving that hard earned cash! Those babies aren't cheap!
